What is on offer
Japan Travel Planner publishes free travel guides and free browser-based planning tools, and sells digital travel planning resources — currently one printable PDF workbook for first trips to Japan.
Everything here is planning information, not advice
The guides, the tools and the paid workbook are planning aids. They are not legal, visa, immigration, medical, tax, financial, insurance or safety advice. Prices, timetables, opening hours, closures, entry rules and medication regulations change, sometimes at short notice. Before you book or travel, verify anything that matters against the official source. That applies especially to the numbers our calculators produce, which are estimates built from typical ranges — a planning midpoint, never a quote.
What you may do with a purchase
A purchase is a licence for personal, non-commercial use: download it, print it, use it to plan your own trips, as many times as you like. You may not resell it, redistribute it, share the file publicly, republish substantial parts of it, or present it as your own work.
The free tools
The tools are free to use, with no account and no usage limit. They are provided as they are, without warranty. Do not rely on them as your only source for a decision that costs money.
Delivery and payment
Payments and delivery are handled by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record, which may handle tax, receipts and checkout under its own terms. Files are delivered digitally after purchase, so use an email address you can actually receive mail at. Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
Availability
We aim to keep the site up and the tools working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and pages may be changed, corrected or removed. To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you paid us — which for the free guides and tools is nothing.
Corrections
If you find something on this site that is factually wrong, tell us. We would rather fix it than defend it, and corrections are made in the open.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the products or the site change. The current version is always the one on this page, with its date at the top.

Use the contact form — it reaches a person, and corrections are welcome. For anything about an order, replying to your order email is faster still, because it arrives with the order attached. We are also on Pinterest as japantravelplanner.
